What Parents Need to Know

My Child’s Behaviour Is Out of Control.
Can You Help?
Empowering parents and caregivers with strategies that build skills, reduce behaviours of concern, and support positive daily living.

We Have Therapy Funding.
Why Isn’t It Working?
When behaviours escalate or become unsafe, Behaviour Support may be needed.
If Behaviour Support funding is not yet in place, a structured behavioural assessment can identify risks, understand behavioural drivers, and provide recommendations to support a funding request.

How Do We Know If We’re Ready?
You’re ready if you’re willing to try structured strategies, stay consistent, collect simple data, and work collaboratively.

What If We’re Exhausted?
If you’re feeling exhausted, you’re not alone. Change is possible with steady support, practical strategies, and consistent responses over time.

Will You Work Directly With My Child?
Yes — but within a parent-led model. Observation helps, but real progress happens when caregivers consistently use strategies in everyday life.

Is Behaviour Support Parent-Led?
Yes. Behaviour Support is a capacity-building service. I provide assessment, structure, and practical strategies — while parents and caregivers implement them consistently in daily life. Real change happens when adults feel confident to respond differently.

How are supports delivered?
Support is provided through a hybrid model (in-person + online) or online only.
Sessions focus on observation, strategy development, and coaching caregivers to create real change in daily life.

Do You Offer Clinic Appointments?
I do not operate from a clinic. Behaviour Support can also be delivered fully online, focusing on caregiver coaching, behaviour analysis, and practical strategies for daily life.

What if we don't have behaviour support funding?
If Behaviour Support funding is not yet in your NDIS plan, a Functional Behaviour Assessment can be completed to identify behavioural drivers, outline strategies, and support a funding request.

What About Restrictive Practices?
If a restrictive practice is identified, an Interim Behaviour Support Plan is required under NDIS guidelines until a Comprehensive Plan can be developed
